When she joined Medcen Community Health Foundation in 1991, Ethel A. Cullinan, PhD, provided the leadership that sparked the growth of the foundation's corpus from $5 million to over $40 million. Additionally, millions more have been earned in support grants to the Medical Center of Central Georgia and Community Health initiatives. Dr. Cullinan is a fellow in both the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy, as well as a certified Retirement Housing Professional. She is a Senior Vice President of Central Georgia Health System, the parent company for Medcen and serves as the President/CEO of Carlyle Place, an affiliated continuing care retirement community.

After fifteen years with the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Physician Recruitment, Asbury joined Medcen in 2000 to oversee the day-to-day operations and all fundraising efforts - Major Gifts, Private Foundations, Planned Giving, Sustained Giving, and the Children's Hospital. A fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Asbury has twelve years experience in physician services and recruiting. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance from Georgia Southern University.

Tarver assists with fundraising efforts for The Children's Hospital, including oversight of Children's Miracle Network programs.  Prior to her current position with Medcen, Tarver worked in the University of Georgia's Athletic Association Development Office with the G Club.  Raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Tarver moved to Georgia to attend UGA where she earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science and a Master's degree in Non-Profit Organization Management from UGA's School of Public and International Affairs.

Ellen coordinates the planning, direction, and implementation of the annual and sustained giving programs for Medcen Community Health Foundation, which include tribute gifts, direct mail solicitations, and the employee giving campaign.  In addition, she oversees the operations of the Advisory Board for Hospice of Central Georgia.  Ellen has been with Central Georgia Health System for over 26 years, having previously served as Executive Assistant to the CEO and Assistant Director at the Wellness Center.

Shawn develops the budget and financial reports while maintaining the donor database and grant administration. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Mercer University Stetson School of Business and Economics. He has over ten years of combined experience in the areas of accounting and finance in both the for-profit and non-profit sector.

Carolyn is Assistant to the CEO and Liaison to the Board of Trustees. She is also a Diversity Trainer for Central Georgia Health System. She came to the Foundation in March 1998, after almost 14 years as Assistant to the President and Staff Secretary to the Board at Wesleyan College. While at Wesleyan, she served "on loan" as the first Executive Director of Georgia Women of Achievement and coordinated the first three annual induction ceremonies. Carolyn is active in the American Association of University Women, and is listed in Who's Who in America. She holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Service Management degrees from Mercer University.

Debbie holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration. She also brings 7 years experience as a healthcare educator and team leader at The Medical Center of Central Georgia and Mobile Infirmary Medical Center in Mobile, AL. Debbie works closely with senior management, board members, and volunteers to identify, cultivate, and solicit major gift contributions to the Foundation from individuals, corporations, and other foundations. She focuses on establishing Medcen as an accessible philanthropic resource for donors seeking estate planning and charitable opportunities.

Kristen oversees all marketing and communications efforts for the Foundation. Prior to Medcen, Kristen worked as a fundraiser and community relations specialist for the March of Dimes. Born and raised in Macon, Georgia, Kristen attended Georgia College & State University where she earned undergraduate degrees in English and Political Science and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. She is a member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, the Georgia Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations, and the American Marketing Association. Kristen also serves on the Georgia Transplant Foundation's statewide marketing and communications committee and their local Advisory Board. She has been a member of Central Georgia CASA's Board of Directors for 4 years, as well.

Shirley provides administrative support to both the Executive Director and the Finance and Records Manager while facilitating efficient daily operations at the Foundation. She has been with The Medical Center of Central Georgia for 15 years having previously worked in Risk Management, Physician Services and Recruitment and Property Management. Shirley brings a valuable knowledge of MCCG policies and procedures to Medcen, which are used on a daily basis.

Missi directs all fundraising efforts for The Children's Hospital, including the annual Children’s Hospital Celebrity Classic Weekend in April and the Children's Miracle Network Broadcast each June. Missi works closely with the staff and management of The Children’s Hospital, board members, and volunteers to identify, cultivate, and solicit contributions for The Children’s Hospital from individuals and corporations. She has eight years of development experience in the local community, including working with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Missi is also a member of the Junior League of Macon. She received her Marketing degree from Georgia Southern University.
